Let's try something new, different and germ free for Spring 2021! Order a box of seasonal, locally grown and crafted produce, plants, herbs, cut flowers, bird treats and more and we'll deliver it right to your door, contact-free and safely.
How will I get my own collection of Spring Goodies?
For now, we're thinking of two options - boxes will be able to be ordered individually, or as a monthly, 6-month subscription running from May - October 2021. They'll cost the same either way, and will be dropped at your doorstep free of charge in Jefferson and Bullitt counties. They will be able to be purchased online here on the website.
Delivery will likely cost a small fee in future years, but it's free this year inside of Jefferson and Bullitt counties, Kentucky, and anyone ordering even just one box in 2020 qualifies for FREE delivery of Rain and Shine boxes in future years! (If demand continues beyond our current covid era)
Large boxes will be filled with $20 of Rain and Shine goodies, and regular boxes will contain $15 worth of the same seasonal, hand-grown or crafted items. For at least one item in your box, you'll get an accompanying card exploring that item further; for instance a veggie plant might have a recipe card with it explaining our favorite way to eat it, herbs might have instructions on making tea from them, etc.
For an additional $3, we'll doll your box up so it can be given as the perfect gift for your friends and family!

A selection of starter plants for spring like tomatoes, pollinator-attracting flowers, and herbs; seasonal produce from the Rain and Shine farm, bird seed treats, seeds, cut herbs, cut decorative flowers, stovetop potpourri and/or more! Regular box

All the same delightful assortment from the large box, in a smaller size.
Focused Boxes
Focus in on specific types of products with these box options. Drop us a note at rainandshinelouisville@gmail.com with special requests, too, of items you've seen us sell at markets in the past that you enjoyed.
Plants

For spring through mid-summer, this box will have starter plants; beyond mid-summer, it will include more mature plants that are ready to pop in the ground an enjoy right away. These boxes will be a mix of plants, unless you indicate a preference for vegetables, herbs or flowers (or a combination).
Farm-fresh produce

Straight from the farm, this seasonal box will feature different produce and herbs.
Fresh cut herbs

Herbs grown by Rain and Shine, useful in cooking or even for making teas or essential oils yourself at home.
